Couples
Relationships can be hard sometimes!
If you are stuck in repeat arguments, feeling distant or more like roommates, not happy with your sexual connection, and feeling like you never get it right with him/her, I can help. I want to help you rediscover joy in your most important relationship.
Couples work with me to overcome:
I use both Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, the most effective, researched approaches to couples counseling. I also specialize in premarital counseling using the Prepare/Enrich assessment and program.
I work with couples who are dating, premarital, married, parents who need support, or couples working to prevent divorce.
Together, we will get you out of the same repeating arguments and start to hear and love each other. My goal is to make you feel safe, cared about, and hopeful for your relationship. I will help you get to the root of relationship problems and begin to see lasting positive changes. If you are trying to pick up the pieces in your relationship, I can help you survive and even Thrive!
Individuals
I can help you with:
Parents and Kids
I enjoy working with parents and their kids to help kids grow into healthy, well-adjusted people with a strong sense of self-esteem and security in the world. I help each person in the family feel safe to explore how their relationships are working and what they want them to be.
The search for acceptance and belonging begins in our families. However, navigating the twists and turns of family life can be complicated and at times can create a sense of loneliness.
During childhood, parents and kids sometimes end up with lots of conflict and not having the kind of closeness they dreamed of. It is a beautiful process to work on bridging the divide and helping parents and kids begin a new and stronger relationship. I am trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to help you and your kids to have wonderful relationships.
